Chilliwack hockey fans will have the opportunity to watch the city's new Western Hockey League franchise all season long for free on the Victory+ streaming service.
The WHL announced a multi-year deal with the company on March 20 and coverage began on March 28. The deal will be in place when the Chilliwack franchise arrives for the 2026-27 season.
The deal sees all WHL regular season and playoff games streamed for free starting with the 2025 WHL playoffs. It's first time in the WHL's history that games will be available to stream for free to fans around the world. The service has no geo-restrictions and can be viewed anywhere with an Internet connection.

The WHL announced on Thursday (April 10) that over 775,000 fans tuned into round one of the WHL playoffs. They averaged about 17,000 viewers per game in the opening round. The highest viewership for a single game was 38,000, who tuned into game seven of the Prince George Cougars vs. the Portland Winterhawks on April 7. Both the BCHL's Chilliwack Chiefs and the PJHL's Chilliwack Jets have had their games aired on the FloHockey service for the past few years and that streaming network also added the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks this past season. FloHockey also has coverage of ECHL, SPHL, the entire CJHL, US College and other Canadian junior leagues. However, that service costs $39.99 per month or is available for $203.99 for an annual pass.
