McLellan leads Cascade crew at Washington State tournament

Connor McLellan is trying to replace another Chilliwackian, Aaron Pauls, as the leader of the UFV golf team.

Chilliwack’s Connor McLellan tied for fifth overall and his University of the Fraser Valley golf team finished fourth at last weekend’s Olympic College Men’s Golf Invitational.

The tournament was hosted by Olympic College at a course in Bremerton, WA.

McLellan fired a three-over-par 75 in the first round and a two-over-par 74 in the second round.

He was eight shots off the lead, held by Olympic College golfer Adam Barker.

McLellan had six birdies in the tournament, three apiece in each round.

McLellan is trying to lead the UFV golfers in the absence of graduating Chilliwackian Aaron Pauls.
