Lions support Chilliwack Minor Football

Three members of the Canadian Football League's BC Lions are in Chilliwack Saturday for CMFA's registration.

The Chilliwack Minor Football Association holds registration for the 2013 season this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, at Cottonwood Mall from 10am until 3pm.

And they’ll have some special guests.

Three members of the Canadian Football League’s BC Lions — wideouts Marco Iannuzzi and Shawn Gore and offensive lineman Dean Valli  — will be meeting fans between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

“We are looking forward to another amazing year” said CMFA president Wayne Bjorge.  “Chilliwack Minor Football continues to grow and develop many competitive athletes, motivating young men and women to achieve their highest potential.”

CMFA hopes to field teams in the flag, atom, peewee, junior bantam, bantam and midget levels this fall.
