The Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club’s eighth annual Harrison Regatta was a huge success, with 70 teams racing under sunny skies on Harrison Lake.
One West, hailing from False Creek, was the fastest mixed team, taking home gold in the final with a time of one minute and 56 seconds.
Kelowna’s Dralions were the fastest women’s team, covering their final run in 2:27.
FVDBC home teams fared well.
The Mavericks placed 10th overall in the field of 49 mixed crews.
The club’s newest team, the Wrecking Crew,’ took home a bronze medal in the ‘B’ division final.
