GW Graham hosts two basketball tournaments

Senior and Grade 9 girls tip off this week in showcase tournaments at the school.

The GW Graham gymnasium buzzes with activity this week as the school hosts two girls basketball tourneys.

The Senior Girls Showcase has the Grizz in a six-team field that includes Kelowna, Valleyview (Kamloops), Semiahmoo, Robert Bateman and Okanagan Mission (Kelowna).

GWG opens Friday morning at 11 a.m. versus Valleyview.

Running at the same time, GWG’s Grade 9 Girls Showcase is a five team tournament that includes Maple Ridge, Abbotsford middle school, Sardis and Valleyview.

An all-local match starts the tourney off at 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon as GW Graham faces Sardis.
