Graham’s senior girls basketball squad continued their run at the first provincial berth in school history, knocking off the Mission Roadrunners 59-48 last weekend.Janelle Tucker and Kaitlyn McDonald led the Grizzlies in scoring with 18 and 20 points each as GWG downed a team they’d never beaten in four previous years.Senior point guard Mikaela McManus had one of her best games in the back court, while Breena Wirtz and Jamie Wesa played strong in the post controlling the boards. The team played a win-and-you’re-in game Thursday in Coquitlam (after Progress deadlines), facing Archbishop Carney.
