Graboski hitting stride in NCAA

Ex-Chilliwack Chief Spencer Graboski is finding his footing with the NCAA's Sacred Heart Pioneers.

Ex-Chilliwack Chief and current Sacred Heart men’s hockey forward Spencer Graboski was named Atlantic Hockey rookie of the week after helping his Pioneers to a pair of big wins.

Graboski had two goals and two assists as Sacred Heart (12-22) pulled off back-to-back upsets over the Bentley Falcons (18-12-4).

Graboski had the game-tying goal late in the third period of a 5-4 win.

He collected a career high three points (goal and two assists) in the rematch.

The Quesnel native has scored a goal in each of his last three games, and has eight points in his last four games.

The Pioneers face the Canisius Golden Griffins (12-19-3) when the playoffs start this weekend.
