Friday night lights at Townsend Park

An all-local atom game marks the start of weekly Friday night minor football games at Townsend Park.

An atom clash highlights the first of 10 Friday night football games that Chilliwack Minor Football will host this year.

The atom Red Giants and Blue Giants square off under the Townsend Park lights, with a 7 p.m. kickoff.

The pregame presentation will include player introductions and the signing of the national anthem. The Chilliwack Giants cheer squad will stir up the crowd, and game MVPs will be recognized afterwards.
