The newly-formed Optimist Eagles are looking for 13 boys and 10 girls between the ages of 13 and 18 who want to give dragon boating a try. Practices are held Saturday mornings, with paddlers meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Harrison Marina on Rockwell Drive.
The cost is free.
The team is looking to compete in its first 200 metre race May 4 at the Dragon Zone junior regatta in Vancouver.
