Von Richardson and his Canadian rugby crew went 0-3 on last week’s tour through Northern Ireland.

The GW Graham grad made the overseas trip with Canada’s U-19 mens’ team, which played their first game Dec. 29.

The teenager was not in the starting lineup as his team fell 23-19 to Campbell College of Belfast.

Richardson was in the mix for a Dec. 30 match against Ards RFC, which the Canadians lost 17-7, and he saw action in the final game as Canada fell 31-3 to Ulster U-19.

Richardson’s team will return to Ireland in March to face the Irish U-18/U-19 nationals.
