Chilliwack’s Mitchell Thiessen ties for 56th at B.C. Amateur Golf Championship

The four round tournament was played July 18-21 at Surrey’s Morgan Creek Golf Course.

Connor O’Dell finished in a tie for 22nd overall (in a field 77) at last week’s B.C. Amateur Golf Championship, which was played July 18-21 at Surrey’s Morgan Creek Golf Course.

O’Dell, a Maple Ridge native representing the Chilliwack Golf Club, shot a four-over-par 292 over four rounds, finishing 16 strokes off the pace set by first place finisher Jake DuVall (Victoria).

Chilliwack’s Mitchell Thiessen had rounds of 73-77-76-77, finishing in a tie for 58th with a 15-over-par 303.

Abbotsford natives Cody Stewart and Zach Olson, both representing the Chilliwack Golf Club, missed the second-round cut.
