Chilliwack’s Evan Foster appears to have survived training camp with the Toronto Argonauts.

According to argonauts.ca, the second year pro has been assigned to the Canadian Football League team’s practice roster.

Foster saw action in two preseason games.

He posted one tackle during a June 1 road match at Hamilton and posted another defensive stop during a June 7 home game versus the Ottawa Redblacks.

Foster dressed for seven regular season games during the 2017 CFL season, posting one special teams tackle.

Toronto opens the 2018 schedule Friday night at Saskatchewan.
