A trio of Chilliwack natives are traveling to Quebec in late April to take part in the 2013 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships.
The tournament will be held April 27 to May 4 in Kahnawake, Quebec.
Maddi Krulicki and Michaela Smith will suit up for the Team BC midget female squad. Hayden Guilderson will skate on the midget male team.
They earned their roster spots at a three-day evaluation camp, held April 5-7 in Williams Lake.
Team BC players must be residents of the province with aboriginal ancestry.
Krulicki and Smith both went to last year’s tournament in Saskatoon.
This is the second time it’s being held in Kahnawake.
The last time was 2006.
