Haley Klenk proved she belongs in the pool with the world’s best, turning in a stellar performance at last weekend’s Euro 2020 swim meet in Luxembourg.

Representing Swim B.C., the Chilliwack Spartan competed in the 100 and 200m backstrokes.

After placing 10th in the 100m backstroke preliminary with a time of 1:05.15, she qualified for the A final.

Klenk shaved a finger snap off her time, in the final touching the wall in 1:05.11 to finish ninth.
