The Flames went 2-1 in round-robin play with wins over the Greater Vancouver Avalanche and Canucks. Their lone loss came against the Fraser Valley Oilers, the team they'd meet once more in the championship game. It was played Saturday night in North Surrey, with the Oilers winning 4-3.

Post tournament, Longfellow was awarded the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Special Bursary, to help with his post-secondary schooling.
