Chilliwack Ringette offers ‘Come Try Ringette’ event, gym style

The ice is out at the Sardis Sports Complex, so the event won’t require any skating

No ice, no problem for the Chilliwack Ringette Association, which will hold a ‘Come Try Ringette’ event on dry land Saturday (June 19).

From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. youths aged six-and-up will be hitting the floor at the Sardis Sports Complex, giving the sport a go with no skating required.

Chilliwack Ringette will provide all necessary equipment. Participants are asked to wear running shoes and clothing that will allow them to freely run and jump.

The event will follow COVID-19 Return to Ringette protocols and adhere to the Return to Ringette guidelines as well as Return to Gym Ringette guidelines. It is limited to 20 participants, and pre-registration is required.
