Four Chilliwack skaters are going to Western Hockey League camps later this month.

Bradyn Melnyk, a goaltender, will go to main camp with the team that selected him in last spring’s bantam draft. The Saskatoon Blades traded a 2019 pick to grab the netminder, who came up through the Chilliwack Minor Hockey system and posted a 12-2 record with the Yale Academy Lions last season.

Meanwhile, CMHA bantam AAA defenceman Luke Wismer is going to main camp with the Swift Current Broncos, starting Aug. 26.

Teammates Lucas Bourdon (defenceman) and forward Clay Kurtz (forward) will attend the prospects camp of the Kamloops Blazers, running Aug. 24-26.
