Chilliwack gymnasts excel at Western Artistic Canadian Gymnastics Championships

Four Chilliwack gymnasts traveled to Saskatchewan to represent B.C. in the meet.

Four Chilliwackians represented B.C. at last weekend’s Western Artistic Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Saskatoon.

Mikhayla Rosenow competed in the Junior Olympian (JO) 10 division where she was fifth on the vault, sixth on the bars and seventh all-around.

Her Team B.C. group won gold.

Sierra Stobbe (pictured above) competed in the JO 9 division where she placed eighth on the floor.

Her Team B.C. group won silver.

Amélie Shea competed in the Aspire 1 division where the bagged bronze on the vault and finished fourth on the floor.

Her Team B.C. group won silver.

On the men’s side, Joshua Carroll competed in the Level 5 division where he earned bronze on the vault and finished fourth on the rings, finishing 11th all-around.

The athletes all train at Twisters Gymnastics in Abbotsford.
