Chilliwack golf pros among B.C.’s best

Kevin Stinson and Jennifer Greggain were included on a PGA of B.C. list of the top 100 pros.

Two local golf instructors are among the province’s top pros according to the PGA of B.C.

The organization released its ‘Top 100 Golf Professionals of 2018’ this week with Jennifer Greggain (Chilliwack Golf Club) and Kevin Stinson (Cheam Mountain Golf Course) making the list.

Points accumulated through the PGA of B.C.’s Professional Development Program determined the top 100.

According to the association’s news release, the program is an annual Order of Merit, recognizing “PGA of B.C. members who make outstanding contributions to the association, their communities, the province’s golf industry and, mostly importantly, themselves. Through participation in continuing education, competitions, the PGA of BC Awards Program, annual Buying Show and various forms of volunteerism, the PDP provides an equal avenue to showcase strengths of the diverse membership.”

Stinson was 67th in the standings while Greggain was 75th.
