Chilliwack forward moving to Massachusetts

Kit Sitterley has found a new hockey home, signing on with the UMass-Boston Beacons.

Chilliwack Chiefs forward Kit Sitterley has accepted an offer to play for the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons in the coming season.

A native of Mooresville, North Carolina, Sitterley has played the last two seasons for the Chiefs under coach Harvey Smyl in Langley and Chilliwack.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder tallied 23 goals and 26 assists in his BCHL career.

The Beacons play in the NCAA Division III Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference. This past season, the team went 13-10-3 before bowing out in the ECAC East quarter-finals.

Former BCHLers Faiz Khan and Corey Chakeen currently play for the Beacons.
