Two hockey players with ties to the Chilliwack Chiefs have secured NCAA scholarships with the Boston College Eagles.

Defenceman Mitch Andres was acquired last season from the Vernon Vipers and helped the Chiefs finish first overall in the regular season standings.

Another blueliner, Jack Agnew, will join Chilliwack this fall after spending the last two seasons at St. Andrews College.

Both players announced their scholarships Tuesday on Twitter.

Boston College plays in the East Coast Athletic Conference and finished with an overall record of 14-22-3 in 2018-19.
