The Chilliwack Centre of Excellence is trying something new, launching polo sessions at the Cheam Centre pool.
Polo is an internationally-played team sport combining basketball, water polo, bumper cars and kayaking.
With support from Canoe/Kayak BC, the CCE has acquired new polo boats and gear. The first session is Sunday, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
A second session will be held Feb. 16.
Space is limited. Participants must have basic padding skills and the ability to execute a wet exit.
