Chilliwack Attack set back by Synergy

The former Chilliwack Lunachicks are having their struggles in the gold womens' soccer division.

The Chilliwack Attack suffered a 2-1 loss on Sunday to the WCAGFC Synergy in gold division women’s soccer.

The Pitt Meadows visitors opened the scoring 16 minutes into the game, but Andrea Feaver knotted things at 1-1 with a long shot that eluded the Synergy keeper.

The game was tied at halftime, but the Synergy surged ahead 10 minutes into the second half.

Chilliwack had several good scoring chances but came away empty. Kelly Willmets and Janelle Cavanaugh registered strong games for the home side.

Chilliwack now travels to North Delta for a Friday night game.
