Chiefs prospect named to Team BC

Yale Hockey Academy defenceman Jarret Tsyzka joins Team U-16 BC at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George.

Chilliwack Chiefs affiliate player Jarret Tyszka is a late addition to the Team BC U-16 roster that will compete in the Canada Winter Games.

The Games start today in Prince George, with Tyszka drawing in to replace injured player Griffen Mendal (Kelowna).

Tyszka is a Langley native who has appeared in four games with the BCHL Chiefs this season.

The 15 year old blueliner has zero points with Chilliwack, but is a standout with the Yale Hockey Academy Lions U-18 Prep team.
