Several BCHL grads are in the running for the Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the top player in NCAA men’s hockey.
Eighty one names have been put forward for fan voting, 15 of them former BCHLers.
The list will eventually be pared down to 10 and then three, with the winner being named April 12 at the NCAA Frozen Four tournament in Buffalo, New York.

Yanni Kaldis - Cornell (Nanaimo Clippers)
Jake Lucchini - Michigan Tech (Trail Smoke Eaters)
Jarid Lukosevicius - Denver (Powell River Kings)
Corey Mackin - Ferris State (Coquitlam Express)
Cole Maier - Union College (Nanaimo Clippers)
Chase Priskie - Quinnipiac (Salmon Arm Silverbacks)
Mat Robson - Minnesota (Penticton Vees)
Brett Supinski - Union College (Coquitlam Express)
Fabbro is a Nashville Predators first-round draft pick from 2016 and Priskie was selected in the sixth round of the same draft by the Washington Capitals after his freshman season at Quinnipiac. Hirose is currently leading the NCAA in scoring and Lukosevicius won the 2017 NCAA championship with Denver, scoring three goals in the final.
