I had the pleasure of seeing the Chilliwack Players Guild production of The Drowsy Chaperone last Friday night at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. This musical comedy was every bit as good as the original Tony award-winning The Drowsy Chaperone, which I saw on Broadway five years ago. There were entertaining musical numbers, dazzling costumes, and an engaging cast in both productions.
The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is a terrific venue for theatrical performances. The seating is comfortable, the sound quality is sharp, and the sight lines are very good.
Support your local theatre by attending The Drowsy Chaperone. It is playing until April 16.
