Letters: Kindness prompts a payment forward

Recovered money brings a promise to share the kindness.

I wanted to pass along my sincere thanks to the man who found the cash that fell out of my pocket at the Sardis Library last Friday.

I didn’t feel like carrying my purse, so I had (foolishly) put some cash in my pocket.  You could have easily (and reasonably) picked it up and put it in your own pocket. Instead, you showed integrity and kindness, both of which are sorely lacking in today’s society.

I am going to pay it forward by making a donation to the Chilliwack Salvation Army.
