LETTER: No thank you, President Trump

Thanks, President Trump. We understand, “It's Not Personal, Just Business.” You are very clear that if we don't like your trading terms, we can become a state of your great nation.

Thanks, President Trump.

We understand, “It's Not Personal, Just Business.”

You are very clear that if we don't like your trading terms, we can become a state of your great nation. We understand your zeal to make America greater than ever before as their president.

You have challenged us in Canada to face the truth that depending on free trade with any trading partner can be both a blessing and a curse.

Of course, everything is subject to change, and forced change is vital for attracting new trading partners and reducing dependence on foreign trade.

Thank you for giving Canadians a chance to pull together and put our minds and wills together. We will develop solutions that will strengthen us and our economy now and into the future.

As Canadians, we are aware of your past and present history. We have watched the mob attack on the United States Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021, by your supporters, Mr. President. We say, no thanks to your offer of statehood.
