LETTER: Grocery store parking ticket was unfair

‘I am doing business at Salish Plaza and your parking police ticketed me?

Are you serious Salish Plaza?

On Feb. 18, I pulled into the parking lot at Save-On-Foods off Yale Road in Chilliwack. I needed to get groceries but first I had to go to the TD Bank across the street to get a new debit card.

After completing that process I went into the store and got my groceries. When I returned to my car I found a ticket.

Yes, a parking ticket for $86.50 for walking off the lot.

I went to the bank to get a debit card so I could shop in said store. As a senior who has lived in Chilliwack for over 30 years I cannot believe this.

I am doing business at Salish Plaza and your parking police ticketed me?

Not sure if I will ever return. I am disputing the ticket.
