I am a frequent visitor to Cultus Lake, and have been visiting for many years. I am alarmed and extremely disappointed with what is happening with so many monster homes, especially those on the lake.
They seriously detract from the character and the purpose of the park and do not belong in what is a historic recreational area for thousands of people.
It is dreadful to see the natural beauty of the park being destroyed for the benefit of a few wealthy individuals.
I sincerely hope that the current development proposals are denied. As stewards of the park, you have a responsibility to all the people who enjoy Cultus Lake, both the current residents and visitors, not just a few who wish to build giant homes.
