Re: “Local soccer club reporting ‘horrific’ abuse of volunteers”

I normally would not comment on Chilliwack issues but this situation with Covidiots not wishing to provide contact details and getting violent over being asked just has to be called out.

Learn from history folks. We have only the same tools they had in 1918-1920 with Spanish Flu that killed millions at this time.

We are talking six-to-nine-year-olds where the club is trying to provide recreation, something parents have been clamouring for, so what’s your beef when they try?

My answer? Any parent who refuses leaves and takes their kid with them as he or she is disqualified for the season.

If that doesn’t work cancel the whole thing.

Volunteers trying to make something good happen need to be respected. If you don’t like the conditions under which the activity is being provide stay the hell home.
