The City of Chilliwack should be providing five years of free credit monitoring and credit insurance for all the property owners who had their personal information stolen from a city employee’s vehicle recently.

In addition, the city employee should be suspended without pay for three days, if it is determined that the city employee violated policy.

Employee’s must be held accountable with financial consequences when they violate employer policies and as a deterrent to others.
