All police officers (except uncover officers) should be required to wear and use a body camera during all interactions with the public and especially during searches of property and vehicles.

Video recordings have proven to save a lot of time and money, resulting in accused persons pleading guilty to crimes therefore avoiding costly trials and eliminate false complaints against police.

People knowingly being recorded (both police and public) tend to be less aggressive towards each other, which benefits both police and the public.

The benefits and cost of the body cameras and recordings far outweigh the cost of not using the body cameras in many situations.
