Academy of Music marches to own beat

Chilliwack Academy of Music is still a Core Partner of the Cultural Centre, and provides music lessons, classes and special events

I wanted to adjust a statement made in this article: “All programming in the Cultural Centre will now be the responsibility of the Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society” is in error.  The Chilliwack Academy of Music is still a Core Partner of the Cultural Centre, and provides music lessons, classes and special events to the community from its home at the Centre.  Since its relocation to the Centre, it has recorded over 20,000 visits  by people coming to make use of its programs.  I hope that the community will not lose sight of the excellent and ongoing work of the Academy of Music during the transition of responsibility taking place in the building.  “We’re still here!”

Principal, Chilliwack Academy of Music
