Zoey meaning “Life’’

We said hello on the 19th of May 2004 at 9:40 a.m. Approximately one hour later, we told her it was o.k. for her to let go and continue on her journey.

Zoey is survived in the hearts of her brother Zachary, her mom and dad, Lynn and Jeff Long, oma and opa, Edith and Garry Dunham; and grandparents, Val and Bruce Long. She is also in the hearts of nana, great-grandma, many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

She is in great peace because the only emotion she experienced in her time with us was love, what a blessing! We cannot express the joy and honour we felt to have experienced that hour of innocence, which can only in time lead us to inner peace.

. . . So we smile at our daughter because we know she is smiling back at us.

We would like to thank all our family and friends for their loving support. We would also like to thank all the doctors and nurses at B.C. Women’s Hospital who supported us through this chapter in our lives. A special heartfelt thanks goes out to our family doctor who gave us guidance and unconditional support throughout these past months.
