Sadly William (best known as Gene) passed away at the Cascade Hospice on June 13th, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife Gladys whom he married in 1968.
He was born in St. Boniface Manitoba in 1945, moving to Chilliwack in 1993. He owned and operated Martel Painting & Decorating for many years. In his semi retirement he diligently did graffiti removal in the downtown area for the BIA.
In keeping with with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Burial of his remains to take place at a later date.
