Passed away in Langley Memorial Hospital on Dec. 17/05, in his 93rd year, William George Teetzel, a long time resident of Chilliwack.
Born in Gull Lake Sask. Bill moved to Chilliwack, B.C. at an early age, where he became an owner of Fraser Valley Broadcasters and Chilliwack Cablevision. During younger years he was a member of the Chilliwack Golf and Country Club, the Masonic Lodge and a 50 year member of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters. Being a private gentleman with a sense of respect and integrity Bill was revered by his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 66 years Muriel, daughters Barbara (Mel) Tait, Willa (Peter) Alpen, and grandchildren Heidi Tait, Jeff (Sara) Alpen, and Jon Alpen.
Bill was predeceased by his daughter Connie in 1946 and recently brother Harry Teetzel. No service by request.
