The family of Bill Oswald sadly announces his passing on September 1, 2007. Bill passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital at 7:00 p.m. He was born in Waldersee, Manitoba on October 26, 1919.
He is survived by two sisters:Ann Kuss of Chilliwack and Marie Lloyd of Bradford, ON; one brother: Melvin (Vivian) Oswald of Neepawa, MB; and sister-in-law: Viola Oswald-Rogers of Neepawa, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents: Fred and Martha Oswald; sister, Elizabeth Dixon and brothers: John Oswald and Otto Oswald; brothers-in-law, Ralph Dixon, Neil Lloyd and Ed Kuss.
There was a good chance you could have met this tall, friendly gentleman, Bill, around the Price Smart Supermarket or the Camelot Apartment building.
Bill was a World War II Veteran. He was injured in the battle of Normandy.
