William (Bill) Nicholas Flebbe, born Shell Lake, Sask, November 18, 1918. Bill passed peacefully in the Bradley Center, Chilliwack, BC on December 8, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife Anne, 1993 and son Richard, 2009, brothers, Glen, Conrad, Louis, Richard and Gayhart; sisters, Adella, Iona, Anemona, Elsie and Genieve. Bill was the last of 11 children born to Otto and Cora Flebbe. Bill was a WWII veteran with his twin brother Conrad. His brothers Louis and Richard also served. Richard was killed in action overseas. Bill and Anne were married in Villna, Alberta in 1946 and lived at Bridal Falls, BC where they raised their two sons, Richard and Wayne.

Bill worked in the logging industry and was a hobby farmer. Bill had a great fondness for music, played guitar and harmonica. He visited Nashville as a country music fan. Bill is survived by his son Wayne and many nieces and nephews. A visitation for friends and neighbours will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Henderson's Funeral Home, between 2 and 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Chilliwack would be appreciated. The family expresses their deep appreciation for all the care that Bill received while a resident at the Bradley Centre.
