William Ernest McLellan was delivered into the arms of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 31, 2009 at Agassiz, BC at the age of 71 years.
Bill was born at Wadena, Saskatchewan on October 15, 1937. He was schooled in Clinton, Maine. Bill joined the RCMP in 1956 and spent 31 distinguished years serving his country. Following his retirement, Bill spent his time volunteering and serving the Lord. Our dad and mum built their retirement home in Agassiz.
Bill is survived by Chris; his children, Clark (Brenda), Robert and Kelly (Kelly) and his stepdaughter Laverne (Ed); grandchildren, David, Marie, Christopher, Michael, Katelyn, Matthew and Cory; his siblings, Neil, Bernie (Shirley), Wayne, Mayme (Larry) and Arthur. He was sadly predeceased by Elsie, our mum and the love of his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:30 am from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
If family and friends so desire, memorial donations in Bill’s name may be made to the Fountain of Life Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Scleroderma Society of Canada, 95 Woodfield Road SW Calgary, AB T2W 5K5.
