Willem (Bill) Hulstein at the age of 64, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Chilliwack General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on July 04, 1945 in Ede, The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1975 with his wife and two children. He had owned a local pig farm and was one of Chilliwack’s finest masons.
He is survived by his son, Rene, and his wife, Marieka and their children: Jordan, Marcus, Timothy, Ryan and Marliese; his daughter, Gerda, and her husband, Rob, & their children: Kanika & Darbi-Lynn; his siblings: Rein (Henny), Rien, Henk (Ria), Truida (Job), Teunie (Gert), Maarten (Willie); and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, Reinder and Geertruida Hulstein (van de Pol) and recently by his niece, Helma Van De Meent (Hulstein).
Memorial Service to be held at the Chilliwack Salvation Army Community Church on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
