Wilfred Clark passed away at The Waverly of Chilliwack on June 26, 2002, in his 92nd year. Born in New Westminster to a pioneer Chilliwack family.
Predeceased by his wife Irene. Survived by his sons, Allan (Pat) and Melvin (Mary); sister Agnes Jones; brother Lionel; four grandchildren, Daniel and Jennifer Clark, Cynthia Beatty, and Janine Stickney; and six great-grandchildren.
A longtime resident of Powell River, where he was a principle in Clark and Wells Logging. An avid outdoorsman, enjoying salt and freshwater fishing, and his annual hunting trip to the Kootenays. He was a past Director of the Westview B.C. Rotary Club, where he was honoured as a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
Cremation. No service by request. If desired donations to the Salvation Army in his name would be appreciated.
