Weldon GORHAM

1925-2011

Weldon was born in Atchelitz in 1925 and passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Chilliwack General Hospital in his 86th year.

He served with the RCAF in the Second World War. He spent his life in the Fraser Valley except for 20 years in the Yukon.

Sadly missed by Jacqueline, his two daughters Betty Lou Matthews and Lynda (George) Gammie, grandchildren Kim, Brad, Carmie (Mike), Niki (Brian), Jodi (Glen) and Tim (Shalena), and great-grandchildren Christopher, Courtney, Matthew, Jenna, Jamie, Kara, Kymbrlee, Zak and Max and four great-great grandchildren, Kinley, Graden, Nolan, and Conner.

He is survived by his sister Laura Merson and numerous nieces and nephews and pre-deceased by his parents Gross and Esther and three sisters, Ethel, Elizabeth and Bernice.

He loved his beautiful garden where he spent many hours every day; he enjoyed travel and camping in his RV. He was a Senator for JCC and a member of the local Legion.
