Wayne LaBounty of 150 Mile House, BC, passed away at his parent’s home in Chilliwack on September 16, 2007, with his wife by his side and family nearby. Wayne fought a courageous battle against cancer.
Born in Mission BC, March 6, 1954, Wayne grew up in Chilliwack, graduating from Chilliwack Senior Secondary. He worked as an auto body technician in Chilliwack, Williams Lake, and Lac La Hache.
Wayne is survived by his wife Terri (nee McClure) and son Jesse; parents, Ann and Ralph LaBounty; sister, Pat (Ernie) Schepanowsky; niece, Tanya (Brian) Guenther and grand-niece Morgan; niece Debra (Dave) Krol and grand-nephews, Alex and Andrew; in-laws Shirley and Ray McClure; brother-in-law Larry (Ruth); McClure; nephew Karl McClure; niece Gillian McClure; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place in 150 Mile House in the coming weeks.
In memory of Wayne donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
