In Loving Memory of Walter William Lawrin ~
At the age of 86 Walter passed away peacefully by his daughter Laurie's side. Walter was born in Poland but came to Canada as a child with his parents and two older sisters Mary and Sophie. They grew up on a farm outside of Edmonton, later moving into the city where he met his first wife Irene. They had 3 children, Carlotta, Laurie & Wally.
In 1967 they moved to Chilliwack, BC where Walter became involved in many local businesses and clubs such as the Rotary.
In 2000, Walter married Annette Oliver in Mission, BC where he gained two stepsons David and Ken.
Walter was a wonderful friend, husband, father, and grandfather; whose kindness, warmth and generosity knew no bounds. He leaves behind 8 beautiful grandchildren.
Walter had a great love for fishing and nature. Some of his most cherished memories were from fishing trips to Alaska with his son Wally, Kitimat with his grandson Spencer, and all the many campfires at Black Mountain Ranch.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Marazzi of Mission, Mission Hospital Lab, Abbotsford / St. Paul's Cardiac Units, and Chilliwack Emergency Services for their healthcare and kind support.
No funeral by request.
