Walter DeGraw, late of Lynnwood, Chilliwack, formerly of Abbotsford, BC passed away September 13, 2006 in Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 83.
Walter was born on December 7, 1922 in his Vedder Mountain home and lived in the area all his life.
Walter served in the army during WWII which took him to many places including Holland. He worked for Clayburn Brick Co. for most of his working life. One of Walters greatest interests was Gardening.
He is survived by his wife Nola, his three children; Paul, Ross and June, his six grandchildren; Nita, Gabriella, Evelyn, Kyle, Michaela and David, and one great-grandchild; Ethan.
There will be a Memorial Service and Tea at the Community of Christ Church on Carlton St in Chilliwack on Saturday, September 30/06 at 1:30 pm.
