February 14, 1927 - July 15, 2020
Walter passed away on July 15th 2020 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at 93 years of age.
Because of his great love of the outdoors, a bench is being placed in his memory on The Discovery Trail in the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve. He was raised in the Greendale area and raised his own family there, so it seems a fitting place for a memorial to him.
He leaves behind his wife of 72 years, Annabelle, four children; Francis (Barb), Morley (Darlene), Alexis and Julie (Sandy) as well as eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
