It is with profound sadness W. Eric Closs passed away at home on March 28, 2007 at age 60 years. He was born March 22, 1947 in Kingston, Ontario. Eric is survived by his soulmate and loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Marlene; his daughter Shari (Cee-Cee); his son, Troy; his son in law Jason; daughter in law Sylvia and his pride and joy, his grandsons Adam and Dylan. He is also survived by his mother Keitha. He was predeceased by his father, Eric.
Eric was a caring, loving courageous soul who battled the disease of alcoholism. He will be deeply missed and was cherished. His intelligence and wisdom were extraordinary. He was devoted to his family and received the greatest joy spending time with his grandsons Adam (5) and Dylan (4). We will all miss him terribly. We love him more than he will ever know.
A private family service was held on March 20, 2007. If family or friends so desire please make a donation in Eric’s memory to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
