Greer, Violet Edna
January 8, 1936 - August 1, 2013
Mom passed away peacefully with her 3 children by her side at the Chilliwack General hospital. She had complications from COPD which she tried to fight but lost. Special thanks to all the wonderful nurses in the ICU for their compassion and love they shared with us while we were there for our Mom.
Those who knew Mom never saw her without her knitting needles or crochet hooks. She was always making something and ready to show you what she had just finished or was wanting to start next.
She was a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
Violet is survived by son, Allan (Susan); children: David (Vickie), Robbie (Kristi) and Shawna (Curtis); daughter Cindy Brouwer (Tom); children: Theresa; son, Patrick; children: Chelsy and Carson; great grandchildren: Cale, Campbell, Casey, Christian, Kaleb, Lex and Alexander; sister, Willa (Jonathan) and brother, Jim (Ann); numerous nieces and nephews, special friends: Ramona and Sue. Thank you for all your love and support. No service as requested, a small family tea with take place at a later time. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice. No flowers please.
The craft sale is over and the knitting needles and crochet hooks are put away for the last time. We love you mom...till we meet again.
