Viola Hill, after a long illness with cancer, passed away peacefully at Chilliwack Hospital on August 24, 2004 at the age of 74. She was born in Vancouver, B.C. on June 8, 1930.
Her life was enriched with loving family and so many friends who she deeply cherished. Vi will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
She is survived by her loving family: Daughters, Katharyn Bolan (Harry Smith); Barbara Mallard (Kevin Floyd); Nancy Bain, Yvonne Richards (Bill Clough) and son: Mark Bain, grandchildren: Tyler Bain, Ryan, Nathan and Adam Hooper; Sean and Carly Richards, Daryl (Natalie) Bolan; Steve Bolan and Andrea (Regan) Visser and great-grandchildren: Sera Hooper and Carys Bolan.
Viola was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd G. Hill; sister, Anna and brother, Paul.
Services will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue at 1 pm on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
